Chase Bank

Challenge:
In 2005, Chase Bank acquired Bank One and the Bank of New York.  Based on our existing relationship with Chase and past success at conversions, ImagePoint was selected to manage approximately 1000 locations in Colorado, Oklahoma, Utah, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.  For the Bank of New York to Chase conversion, ImagePoint worked directly with CBRE.  Chase provided ImagePoint with a very stringent rolling timeline with the goal of completing all locations within a specific timeframe. 

Solution:  
ImagePoint immediately began assembling a seasoned team of 28 project managers and project assistants for this conversion.  Given the fast-paced nature of the project and the concurrent nature of the market rollout, a project implementation plan was developed to meet the pre-determined objectives and timeline for this project.  The scope of work for this conversion was extensive, including site surveys for exterior and interior signage and ATM's, as well as, landlord approvals, permit procurement, and conducting weekly status calls with the Chase project management team.  The ImagePoint project management staff was very involved in field activities by continuously being in the market to manage installations and conduct punch through market close-out. 

Results: 
The Team completed all markets on time or ahead of schedule with little to no punch. The schedule is often defined by legal guidelines when it is a name change event, so it was very important to Chase that we meet or exceed their predetermined deadline.  Not only did ImagePoint successfully meet Chase's goals, but we were also asked to help our competitors in every market in order to meet the overall conversion deadline.

Based on their performance on the Chase conversion, ImagePoint's Chief Executive Officer selected the Chase Team as the Organization of the Year for 2006 at ImagePoint.  This is the highest honor for a team at ImagePoint.
