Challenge: 
McDonald's brand promise states:  "With a sense of fun and youthful spirit, we will proudly serve an exceptional McDonald's eating experience that makes people feel special and makes them smile - every customer, every time."  A significant part of the McDonald's experience is the McDonald's building itself.  In early 2000's, McDonald's realized that their buildings were dated and began working with an outside design firm to formulate a plan to update their buildings and translate their brand promise into their facilities. 

Solution: 
ImagePoint began working with McDonald's and its outside design firm to develop a new concept for the new image of McDonald's. 

ImagePoint offers McDonald's corporate and franchisees a turnkey package that includes:

  • Turnkey service to simplify the project
  • Single point-of-contact for the entire architectural installation, including signage and architectural elements
  • Billing for the entire job at completion of installation
  • Products manufactured and installed to specification

Results: 
The new building provides a practical, contemporary design that aligns with the McDonald's brand essence while accommodating the latest operational and consumer experience standards.  Operators who have re-imaged their buildings or opened new restaurants have provided very positive feedback. 

In 2006, ImagePoint was nominated and accepted as a member of the McDonald's Equipment Supplier Council (ESC).  The ESC is made up of 12 leadership suppliers who work with McDonald's to capitalize on opportunities for improvement within the McDonald's Equipment and Construction Supply Chain.
